My name is Helen, I live in Nottinghamshire and I love to read. I always have several books on the go at once and travelling without my Kindle and my headphones is my worst nightmare. I also blog at Helsbels, where I document my adventures in running and fitness. However, it’s hard to blog about running when you are currently on the injury bench, so I decided it was a good time to start documenting the book reviews and musings of a bibliophile.
I’ve always loved reading. I remember my first reading book at school which simply had the word “look” on every single page. It was exceptionally dull, even as a four year old. My bag for family holidays always weighed a lot due to the sheer volume of books I took with me. I loved Sweet Valley and The Babysitters Club and could easily get through several editions a day.
As I type this, I sit surrounded by two full bookcases of books and a stack on the coffee table. My Kindle sits next to me. Nothing beats turning the pages of a book, but I love the convenience of a Kindle when travelling as my bag no longer weighs as much. My favourite book is Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine and I hate Pride and Prejudice.
